shemale queen I was at a recent graduation ceremony, and present on stage were students of mine. They looked wonderful, happy, and content. It was absolutely satisfying to witness this event. I should have left the building at that point.mulatos zene

dragonball z 1080p The rest of the ceremony left me hollow and frustrated inside. You see, I still am working on lesson one: Expectation + Frustration = Anger (Elliott Larson). There were a few comments made by the top of the food chain that really were considerate and holistic. But man did they miss out on a great opportunity to really hit home-runs with this one.

You see, we as educational professionals attend conferences, In-Services, read documents and books on how to better educate students and especially include high principles in our everyday endeavors. We are force-fed great ideas, principles, and told to be inclusive; and oh! also that it takes a community to educate a child. In other words: We all have to work together. As I sat through this ceremony, I was looking, searching, listening, to catch even a glimpse of it; something to make me feel good about all I do as a teacher and that it was a collective effort. And as I listened to people who have nothing to do with them on a day-to-day basis, telling them lessons of life, frustration grew in me.
The cherry on the sundae for me was when, finally, my name came up. It was like, okay!, finally I will get some credit for their achievements, some kid will realize that some people worked hard and were a big part of their success. Families and my bosses will hear it from the mouth of the students. Dream on teacher, dream on. The only thing he had to say was that I can grow a beard so quickly, that a family of birds can nest in it after only 3 days.
After the ceremony, not one grad or parent came to me and thanked me for the last 4 years. Not one! I know that teenagers are self-centered and egocentric; I was a teenager too once. But I still believe that no matter your age, we should thank the people that really matters, not just some, especially the teachers I work with. As a staff, I have never worked with more dedicated people in my career.
I keep the hope that someday chances like these will not go astray; that we will succeed in honoring people the right way: holistically, thoroughly and thoughtfully, based on the principles we use to teach and try to instill in our students. cl
